Great & Bad News all from Africa!

hello my countrymen,
Today the world woke up to Africans as being the most optimistic people in the world today, what, with the many mega projects under way, discovery of mineral resources, mostly the recent discovery of viable `Black Gold' reserves in the greater East African block, the great reduction of illiteracy levels, child mortality, life expectancy etc.etc have made us be known for the better. further, the many young innovators are changing the business as usual mode that has been broken down by many new inventions on the way of life and new applications and software that have seen what used to be lengthy hectic procedures be solved just by a click of the button!
From the same place comes the bad news of the coups, al shabaab, the entire Sudan, and most distastefully, gay beauty pageants that have never been in any other land! whoever chose South Africa as the tentative venue or maybe their laws are lax, for whatever reason, i cant understand why a fully grown man in his true state of mind can go cat walking no matter the experiments he does with sex in his bed. sexuality is a very complicate issue inherently intertwined with one`s judgement and rationale. your sexuality unchecked can lead to the entire destruction of a great human with unmeasurable potential. many kings and leaders have been great only to be brought down by their unchecked appetite of sexual exploits.
Homosexuality is not a thing to celebrate but one to use as a benchmark upon which we can study how exposure to certain kinds of material affects the thinking and eventual character of any human. its neither to be glorified like we ought to do for a new invention in medicine or physics that will impact positively on the later life on this globe.I have never seen how sexual pleasure no matter how gratifying lasts for a time more than the action time. to go to the street to show that you practise this or that kind of sexuality is tantamount to a youth crying out loud for others to approve their juvenile acts. instead of spending much needed funds on a gay pageant, on a continent that still needs a lot of enlightenment and modernisation, the same organisers could have applied the logistics and funds to change the life of one other soul for posterity, not flaunt your bare chest for the sake of who knows what! your sexual leaning should not be the epicentre of your brains` functions that it controls all the way round you life and the way you associate with others. its not that integral to life as some would want us to believe.there`s more to life than whether you are gay, straight etc.
We in Africa have our own cultures that adhere to certain unchangeable facts of creation.we go practising with malaria vaccines and new fertilizers and seeds to improve our yield and enhance the lives of our people, not practise with our bodies as if to find another life that we cant see. that pomp and energy we saw at that gay thing is down south, should be put into something tenable not men walking down the cat walk in a bikini! quote me!
